First of all, we must understand what is the manufacturing process and the different ways of working. On the different working techniques, we will choose one, the method that offers us the most freedom with a minimum of equipment and above all the possibility of working alone and without an external service provider. You will be able to lead the jewelry from A to Z and your production will look like you.

Day 1
On the first day of the course, we will discuss the different working methods through a presentation of the panel of techniques existing throughout the world. We will then present the tools, their functions and their name.
Once this little overview of the working methods is done, we put our project down on paper, the number of parts to be manufactured and how to assemble them.
We will start with tracing on paper or cardboard to draw and cut the pieces to scale 1.
As soon as the project is clear in your mind, and the work steps defined and put in order, we will start the actual manufacturing.

This saying applies to jewelery and it is through practice that you will understand the mechanisms and acquire precision automatisms.
I adapt to all students by following them personally in their project according to their ability and the progress of their work.
2 days
This second day, we will continue the work undertaken the day before, We will approach the melting points of precious metals, their brazing and the techniques to establish the different welds to be made according to the different melting points of the filler metals.
We will also discuss the regulatory aspect of the work of precious metals, hallmarks, keeping the police book and the obligations of the jeweler before the law.
days 3
We will continue the work and I will endeavor to guide you personally on the work of your piece.
After three days, we can start analyzing everyone's work to understand mistakes and "good ideas".
We will approach the economic aspect of an artisanal production, the way to find its clientele and the development of its creativity by highlighting what we are to find its own way and not to be in the reproduction.
days 4
We will continue the work of our works and will approach the stones and their crimping. Crimping is very technical and requires a lot of practice. Doing and undoing are the key words for crimping to acquire a good mastery. It is therefore important to understand the shapes of stones and the different types and stages of setting.
days 5
It's our last day together, everyone is taking stock of what they have learned, finishing their work and asking all the questions that come to mind.
We do a personal interview to find out if your expectations have been met and to think about your project, retraining or hobby, do you want to continue, how to do your workshop and what tools to buy, the budget, the suppliers, etc.
